Dr Suranji Perera is a dedicated General Practitioner with a strong commitment to patient care. She achieved fellowship status with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. Since then, Dr Suranji has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from Western Sydney University, demonstrating her specialized expertise in paediatric health as part of her ongoing work as a GP.
With a long-standing background in Medicine, Dr Suranji earned her MBBS in 2010 and gained valuable experience working as a medical officer in the anaesthesia and intensive care unit of a prominent hospital in Sri Lanka. In 2017, she relocated to Australia, since then she has thrived as a General Practitioner, providing comprehensive healthcare services to her patients.
Dr Suranji loves travelling, watching movies, and playing netball and she is fluent in both Sinhalese and English..
Dr Suranji has a special interest in Women’s health, Men’s health, Child and adolescent health, Chronic disease management, General medicine, Surgical procedures, Emergency medicine and Mental Health.
