Dr Channa is a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner. As a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, he has gained a wealth of experience in general practice. Prior to his role as a GP, Dr Channa has worked in various emergency departments across Australia.
Dr Channa caters to all general practice presentations, including emergencies, childhood illnesses, chronic adult conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, acute adult illnesses, and minor surgeries that can be handled within the surgery. Additionally, Dr Channa is happy to attend to skin conditions, musculoskeletal pain, and minor fractures.
Originally from Sri Lanka, Dr Channa began his medical career in anaesthesia and intensive care at a leading hospital before moving to Australia in 2017. Dr Channa loves riding motorbikes, travelling, Hiking and spending time with his kids.
Dr Channa lives locally and is fluent in English and Sinhala.
